Center for Creative Retirement-Today's Program
The Center for Creative Retirement (CCR) meets Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, mornings from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and afternoons from noon to 1 p.m. Retirees seeking an intellectual challenge and social engagement will find in the program just what they are seeking.
Each day brings a fresh perspective on some topic that the members have chosen as part of the syllabus. CCR volunteers research and present the topics. As a member, you can look forward to a rich tapestry of new facts and perspectives.
Thursday begins with an introduction to CCR's course on the works of the historian, Barbara Tuchman, who wrote popular books of history covering the Middle Ages, Renaissance, American Revolution, and World War I. In the afternoon, from noon to 1 p.m., we continue our series "Advertising and Consumerism in the United States." Hear part 1 of a two-part presentation, "Advertising Executives and Their Creativity."
