I retired from the Federal Government in June, 2002 after 31 years in U.S. Customs, 22 years in NY and 9 years in D.C. I am currently Director of the Center for Creative Retirement, a self-learning organization for retirees sponsored by Long Island University on the Eastern Campus of Suffolk Community College in Riverhead.
