Another Posh Ride Stolen From Westhampton Beach
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
A brand-new, gray Mercedes Benz was stolen from a driveway on Dune Road this week — it is the fourth posh ride snatched from Dune Road driveways in recent weeks.
Westhampton Beach police said the latest car stolen was delivered a day earlier by a Brooklyn Mercedes Benz dealer and the keys were left hidden in the car.
The missing four-door car was reported to police on July 12 at 7:30 p.m. by a caretaker and police believe the car was taken sometime after the car was dropped off on July 11 at 10 a.m.
Westhampton Beach police said they are investigating the recent theft, as well as a second theft within their jurisdiction — a 2013 Mercedes Benz that was taken from a Dune Road driveway between June 15 and June 16.
Two other cars were taken during that same time, a blue, 2013 Mercedes Benz from Quogue and Porsche from Westhampton Dunes. However, Westhampton Beach police said have been recovered and were located in New Jersey.
