Celebrate our Nation’s birth at the Remsenburg Academy with historic Nautical Art by Fred Bender and Ed Cortez.  Enjoy Fred Bender’s evocative Long Island seascape paintings. Experience our region’s pivotal role in the War of Independence through Ed Cortez' drawings and historic ship models. Step back in time as you listen to the music that was popular with our Founding Fathers.

Opening Reception Friday, July 5, 2013 - 5pm to 8pm

Gallery Hours: Fridays through Sundays, July 5–21, 2013
