Donna Levy "Visions in Color" Art Gallery at the Quogue Library

Artist Reception: Saturday, June 1st, 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. All are welcome.

Donna Levy, a Quogue resident,  has always been drawn to the primary beauty of the landscape, especially that of Eastern Long Island where she has spent many years observing and translating that experience of light and geography into her paintings.

Color is essential to her artwork.  In her abstracts, landscapes and still lifes, she favors vibrant, bold color, which radiates on the canvas.  In addition, she uses distinct, simplistic forms and light to establish depth and draw the viewers in.
