6 Things to Remember When Heading to the Boardy Barn

Anyone who has been to the in Hampton Bays will say it's an experience not to be missed. Despite the long lines, fans continue to go back Sunday after Sunday during the summer to drink beer from cups from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and have a good time. 

Last summer, Westhampton-Hampton Bays Patch sent  to experience the Barn. He waited on line for hours, never to enter the door, but he said, he'd do it again in a heartbeat. 

One Patch reader, , who has made it in the door, offers the following advice to anyone heading to the barn for the first time.

1. Anything that should not/or you don't want getting wet needs to go in a ziplock baggie. 

2. Do NOT wear your "best" ANYTHING. 

3. Shirts with funny sayings on them make for a more fun experience. Forget the whole "Don't talk to strangers" thing. 

4. You WILL get kicked out for throwing your drink. 

5. Prepare to be laughed at for ordering a cocktail of any kind. It's all about the beer here. 

6. (in the shopping center next door) is deliciously fabulous after your Boardy Barn experience.
