Beginner's Knitting Classes at Sweet Woodland Farm

Beginner’s Knitting Classes on Our Homestead in Hampton Bays!

 This is a series of introduction classes on basic knitting.  No knitting experience or knowledge is required to take these classes.

Session I:  “GETTING STARTED” The first class will focus on different types and gauges of yarns, the knitting needles, reading a pattern, and learning how to cast-on, cast-off, how to make a knit stitch, and a purl stitch.  Materials will be provided for this class.

Sessions II, III, and IV: will provide students with the knowledge to start on a new project to take home along with a pattern to follow.  Materials are not included in these three classes and students will need to purchase yarn and needles for them.  Yarn type/gauge and needle type/gauge TBA.

Each class will run for approximately two hours starting at 1:00 pm and are $20 each.  Please call ahead to pre-register.
