Photos: Bowling Alley No More
See what the site looks like two months after construction started.
The former bowling alley in Westhampton Beach doesn't look so much like a bowling alley anymore — the interior has been gutted and the white Westhampton Bowl sign removed.
The 20,000 square-foot building on Sunset Avenue is undergoing a major transformation through a development project that started in early August.
Once complete, the developers, Sunset West, LLC, plan to open the site as an indoor mall, complete with a 50-seat restaurant.
The site plan calls for two offices, two wet stores, and six retail shops.
