The Southampton Animal Shelter, formerly operated by the Town of Southampton but now under management of the SouthamptonMore Animal Shelter Foundation, is a pet rescue and adoption center. The facility houses pets of all types and has a dog training center. Staff and volunteers care for the animals, and the public is welcome to visit and adopt the pets seven days a week. The shelter is located in Red Creek Park, off Old Riverhead Road.
