You sound like the biggest tool on the planet.

Excellent! Andreas has created a very high quality soccer training program and facility for our kidsRead More to develop under the guidance of a deeply experienced college coach. This is really a game-changer for young adults and kids who want to be more competitive and are committed to improving their soccer game. My son loves it ... Thanks, Andreas!

There are no catholic high schools in Smithtown. If you're looking for St. Anthonys, try to searchRead More for Dix Hills, Half Hollow Hills or Melville Patch to see which covers Patch edition covers that area. But, don't get your hopes up. Smithtown Patch which used to do a pretty decent job of covering Smithtown High School sports and our student athletes, barely covers them at all now.

Does the Patch not cover the Catholic School league (boys & girls)??

East Islip girls are not unbeaten in overall record League 3 play. We are still waiting for SectionRead More XI to correct the error. EI lost to Massapequa, not the other way around.

In the notes section I explain that the Nassau awards dinner was postponed by Sandy. So the new dateRead More is in January.
Tina Okulski December 21, 2012 at 12:40 am
Who won the Rutgers Cup for Nassau County and the Thorp Award?

Thanks national football league this was a national tragedy my bowling league also held a moment ofRead More silence
Les Le Gear December 16, 2012 at 05:47 pm
This was a national tragedy. It's good that our sports teams are honoring the victims.

I agree with indy...i would posit the only reason for the "lizards" name was because itRead More flowed with Long Island. Since, that is no longer the case(very sadd day) they should change it to something native to 'NY, NJ, Conn" ...like high taxes...lol
indy December 15, 2012 at 03:09 pm
I feel the real change should have been the "Lizards" name itself. Except for a smallRead More pocket of an introduced species, Long Island doesn't have any lizards!

Sad we lost our LI identity.. happy to see sport grow.

Not a great name. But I bet it will be an unforgettable experience.

One day, a couple of these young men will be able to tell their grandkids: "Yep, I played inRead More the "Beef O Brady's Bowl."

Public transportation is not the problem cost is. If I want to take my family to a game now it's gasRead More and 10 bucks to park for 6 of us. Now the LIRR is $21 r/t before their yearly increase times 6!. I am sure many fans are in the same boat!
Ed Kollin October 27, 2012 at 07:11 pm
Great Public transportation access to Barcley's but no realistic parking. It was done intentionallyRead More that way. It's a fabulous urban arena, in that regard it is a throwback Ebbet's Field. A lot of Long Islanders don't like that sort of thing. That is why Dodgers had to move. When the Brooklyn fans moved to the Island in the 1950's they did not wan't to go back.

Marilyn: Would not be surprised if season is canceled. November is already gone. Sickining

just a factoid from the 06-08 mets, Rays, O's and the current Redsox: it's not WHAT you pay it's WHORead More you pay

No one is twisting your arm telling you to read it, apparently you didn't read the whole thing andRead More see that this is for charity, what have you done for charity lately? Typical classless Yankee fans pounding their chest.

I will miss seeing Keith's mustache. Hopefully it will help change the energy at Citi Field inRead More 2013.. As for the AL East.. there is some good baseball going on. I am not a crazy competitive sports fan and have both Yankee and Met fans in my house so I have to be neutral. I do appreciate good baseball though and and the AL East is crazy this year. Both the O's and Yankees are showing real heart, especially yesterday.
