so sad

I am Brian's uncle, kelvin. Since Brian got to the hospital, and after Jeffrey and rodrigo arrivedRead More they had said that my nephew Brian got out of the car by himself not with their help. I also heard both Jeffrey and rodrigos version of what happened and they both said that Brian got out by himself. That Brian was trapped in the car and that he was screaming out to them for help and that he got quiet and that's when he jumped out from the passenger side threw the drivers side on to the road. What this article says about them helping him is a lie, my nephew got out by himself. What kind of friend is someone that has your life in their hands and doesn't call the police for help. Or what do you guys think??

How many more people have to be injured or die because of this out of control deer population ? WhenRead More is enough, enough? When will the towns goverment do something about the over population of deer here on the east end ? The town of East Hampton is going to spend $40.000 to count the deer herd. I have a news flash for them, we have a deer problem. there are way to many deer !! THIN THE DEER HERD NOW, BEFORE MORE TRAGEDIES OCCUR. Thankyou Joe.

My prayers to the famiy of Mr. Hughes. I went to Sandy Hollow Day camp as a kid and while there hasRead More been a lot of life under the bridge since then, I can recall it all very fondly. There were few nicer people on this planet than Mr. Hughes and his family. I remember the pool, the kickball games, the dusty baseball field and all of it with a fondness and appreciatation that fills my heart with warmth. Somewhere up in heaven there is a kickball game with a bunch of kids in cut-offs and 1970s tshirts and they are having an absolute blast. Take care Mr. Hughes. Thanks for everything.

It is wonderful when someone shares great information and memories of the Apollo program. I onlyRead More wished I could of been there to see them lift off but still have great memories of watching it on television. Neil Armstrong was a true hero, humble and always deflected praise to others in the program. He now belongs to history and the ages.

its a fact that the majority of businesses are SMALL businesses so supporting these small businessesRead More is just as if not even more important than supporting the big ones some of which that pay no taxes. So trickle-up is more effective than trickle down. You don't need a bette example than our country, but you must be an expert economist

You write so beautifully of Susan. I knew her in high school. She was older than I; I was in herRead More twin brothers' classes in school. I remember her always having a smile, always being kind, and just an all around beautiful woman! How sad that she is gone. I pray for God to grant her family peace and comfort in the days, weeks, and months ahead. The world has lost a wonderful woman.

I got to know Monsignor Trench when he served as pastor of Infant Jesus in Port Jefferson. He was onRead More the altar when my late husband and I were married and "excused" us from pre cana due to ages (24) and logistics and conducted our own private pre cana. He truly was a wonderful person to talk with and you could always have a good laugh with him. RIP Monsignor Ed. Joan T. McCool Szynkiewicz-Kelly

Monsignor Trench was such a wonderful person. He loved life, loved his devotion and loved people ofRead More all walks of life. He was the reason I wanted to attend mass. He was approachable, loving and funny. He officiated at my mother's funeral and was so generous in his words and service, no one there ever forgot his kindness to us all. I thanked him many times for different acts of love he bestowed on me and my family and he always just acted like it was nothing. It was something and he will always be remembered in my heart and prayers. I know he is surrounded in love and light and all that is good. R.I.P. dear Msr Trench - Marion Rassias-Greene
LEE MOORHEAD March 30, 2012 at 12:06 pm
I was so sad to hear of the passing of Msr Trench. He was not only an exemplary priest, but aRead More wonderful member of our community. He would always stop to speak to people he knew personally and even if you did not know him on that level, he would still walk over, introduce himself and behave as if he knew you forever. May Jesus and the Angels surround him with love and light. Lee Moorhead Psychic of The Hamptons
