The Westhampton Beach Historical Society, located just north of Main Street on Mill Road, has been educating people about the history of Westhampton Beach and the surrounding areas since 1991. The Society is located in a circa 1840s home that was relocated from South Country Road. Other historical buildings located at the site include the Thurston Raynor Milk House, relocated from the southeast corner of South Road and Apaucuck Pont Road in Westhampton, believed to be constructed in the 1700s, and the Foster homestead, moved from a property near Turkey Bridge in Quogue, which was constructed in 1735. Exhibits at the Society are usually changed on a yearly basis.
