Westhampton Free Library Trunk-or-Treat

Cars lined up on Saturday, October 26 to take part in the Westhampton Free Library program Trunk-or-Treat.  Participants decorated their cars for Halloween and brought treats for the community. Prizes and refreshments were provided.  “I enjoyed setting up this event so much because it was not only great fun, but a safe family event. Each family came up with a theme for their trunk display, what I like to call tailgate trick-or-treating,” said Idea Place Librarian Sonja Roese.

Some of our trunk themes this year were: Pinocchio, Egypt, Scary, Shoe Store, interactive dart board, and Halloween. The Library is looking forward to hosting the event again next year.  “This is another example of how Westhampton Free Library encourages families to participate in Library events together.  I know that next year will be bigger and better,” said Library Director Danielle Zubiller.
