Roger Rosenblatt To Visit Library on Sunday, December 8, 1:00pm

In conjunction with Books and Books, Westhampton Free Library welcomes bestselling author Roger Rosenblatt on  Sunday, December 8th at 1:00pm for a reading, Q & A, and book signing. His newest book, The Boy Detective: A New York Childhood, is the story of Roger's childhood in New York City. Suffused with his signature mixture of acute observation and bracing humor, lyricism, and wit, he takes the reader from his early childhood wanderings to his reflections, decades later, on his own life as an accomplished writer once again walking the streets that helped shape his life.

Roger Rosenblatt is the award-winning author of six off-Broadway plays and sixteen books, including the national bestsellers Kayak Morning, Unless It Moves the Human Heart, Making Toast, Rules for Aging, and Children of War. He is a Distinguished Professor of English and Writing at Stony Brook University, and lives with his family in Bethesda, Maryland and Quogue, New York.
