Great Events Coming Up At Westhampton Free Library

Check out these great events and other events.

There are lots of great events coming up at the Westhampton Free Library for patrons of all ages.  If the holiday season starts to get you crazy, then take a timeout and visit the library.

MIDDLE SCHOOL BOOK CLUB Friday, November 30th @ 6:30pm - Hoot by Carl Hiaasen  Calling all readers of grades 6-8! Join us to discuss our chosen book, watch the movie version, and chow down on good food! WHT142

HOLIDAY WREATHS:Saturday, December 1st @ 9:30am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm Design a beautiful wreath you’ll be proud to display! Bring your imagination and we’ll have the greens and decorations. One wreath and one session per family. WHJ503

LETTERS TO SANTA: Sunday, December 2nd from 2-3:30pm. For children of all ages. Stop by for a cup of hot cocoa and write that all important letter to Santa! No registration required.

DINE AND DISCUSS: VETERANS’ FORUM: Friday, December 7th @ 6:00pm. WHA418.  We’re hosting a special presentation for Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. A panel event called, “What Support Can We Offer the Citizen Soldier,” led by veteran advocate Jim Fogarty, will discuss what it takes to be citizen soldiers and what kind of support is offered for dependents upon deployment. Mike Jacobs, founder of the Friends of the 106th, Lisa D’Agostino of the 106th Family Veterans Association and SCCCollege professor and moderator of the Student Veterans Association Jim Banks will also join the panel.

 

HOLIDAY HIGH TEA: Saturday, December 8th @ 1:30pm.  Bring your own teacup to the  Tea Lady’s delicious, delightful, amazingly wonderful high tea. It’s a Library tradition that everyone loves. Holiday hats and high tea attire welcomed! Limited seating. $6.00 per person to register. WHA396
