Volunteers Needed: St. Rosalie's Earth Day Clean-Up

Volunteers are asked to meet at St. Rosalie's at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.

The Town of Southampton's Great East End Clean-up is this weekend and St. Rosalie's in Hampton Bays is putting together a crew to pick up trash.

The church, which gathered 70 volunteers last year, plans to focus on three areas on Hampton Bays this Saturday — Montauk Highway east and west of St. Rosalie’s; North of Ponquogue Bridge on Foster Avenue out to Shinnecock Road; and North Road near the railroad bridge.

Volunteers are asked to gather for bagels and coffee at St.Rosalie’s Parish Center behind and off to the right of St. Rosalie’s church at 31 East Montauk Highway at 8:30 and be ready to start clean-up at 9:00 a.m.
