PHOTOS: Top Ambulance Volunteers Honored at Ceremony

The Westhampton War Memorial Ambulance Association responded to 1,187 calls in 2012

Members of the Westhampton War Memorial Ambulance Association, which responded to 1,187 calls in 2012, honored their own at an annual ceremony held on Friday night at Dockers in East Quogue.

During the evening, eight new members were welcomed and two retiring members were honored. Plaques were also given to four members to commemorate five years of service; two were honored for ten years of service; two recognized for fifteen years, and two others for twenty years.

Also recognized were top responders, including EMTs Michael Jacobs, Cody Hoyle, and Clarissa McClure.

A special ceremony honored the memory of long-time association member Barbara Mitchell who passed away in January.
