Numerous organizations worked to clean-up Southampton over the weekend.

Over the weekend, numerous groups and organizations across the Town of Southampton participated in the annual Great East End Clean-up, among them Boy Scout Troop 483 from Hampton Bays and St. Rosalie's Church.

St. Rosalie's reported that with the help of 40 partitioners and a number of area students, they were able to collect 50 bags of trash, including several dozen plastic bags and containers littering the roadside in Hampton Bays.

The scouts said they worked to clean-up the area of Tiana Beach, working east to the Shinnecock Inlet.
