Sew Dresses from pillow cases to send to Africa

Please join us for a free event hosted by the Relief Society (the ladies auxiliary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints).  The event is open to all women.

Please bring a sewing machine with you if you can, or soft (new-looking) pillowcases to donate to the sewing of dresses; also  double sided bias tape is helpful, and whistles.

We will be making little girls dresses out of pillow cases and sewing supplies and attaching new whistles on a shoelace for each girl to wear with her dress for safety.

All finihsed dresses will be sent to Africa through the designated charity (see website for more info on this project)
