Save The Date: Annual Quogue Duck Race

This summer's duck race will be held on July 19.

The Quogue Association is set to hold its third annual duck race on July 19 at 6:00 p.m.

The race, which began in 2011, has become a popular summer event with 2,000 rubber ducks sold and launched from the Post Lane Bridge in 2012.

This summer's ducks are now on sale around the Village of Quogue, including at the Quogue Shop where they are being sold for $5 each; $20 for 5 or $50 for a dozen.

The owners of the first three ducks to make it down the canal to the Quogue Village Dock will win cash prizes.

The race will culminate with a sunset concert at the dock.

Other dates to mark:

  • Quogue Association Annual Meeting: Aug. 10, 9:00 a.m., Village Hall
  • Annual Village Beach Party: Aug. 16, 6:00 p.m., Quogue Beach Pavillion
