Bathing Beaches Open This Weekend; Lifeguards On Duty
Westhampton-Hampton Bays Beaches will have lifeguards on duty on the weekends; weekday lifeguards start in June.
With warm temperatures expected this Memorial Day weekend, many residents and visitors are heading for the beach.
All seven bathing beaches in the Westhampton-Hampton Bays area will have lifeguards on duty this weekend, including , and in Hampton Bays; and Pikes Beach in West Hampton Dunes; and in Westhampton Beach; and in Quogue.
Keep in mind that weekday lifeguarding on Southampton Town beaches doesn't start until June 23; in Westhampton Beach, weekday lifeguards start on June 11; in Quogue Village, weekday lifeguards start on June 25 and full-time lifeguarding begins on June 16 for Suffolk County Beaches.
