Suffolk County Public Libraries are offering students K-8 the opportunity to explore seven of these powerful resources at no cost through Live-brary for Kids. The electronic encyclopedias include:

▪ Grolier Online Kids – A kid friendly place to search four major encyclopedias.
▪ Kids Search – Search this electronic database by keyword or topic.
▪ Novelist Plus K-8 – A fiction and nonfiction readers’ advisory for youngsters.
▪ Primary Search – Provides full text of more than 60 popular magazines for research.
▪ Searchasaurus – Includes a dictionary, magazine articles and animal encyclopedia.
▪ Something About the Author – Examines the lives and works of authors and illustrators.
