Authors Unlimited at St. Joseph's College

Authors Unlimited give teens a chance to meet and connect with their favorite local authors.

Authors Unlimited, an event which provides teens with an opportunity to celebrate reading and connect with their favorite young adult authors, will be held on the campus of St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue on Saturday, April 27 from 10 am to 4 pm.  Registration and book sales begin at 9:30 a.m.   A question and answer session, and a variety of workshops will follow.

This full-day event, once described as “a day-long smorgasbord of authors, readers, writers, and pasta salad,” is free and open to the public. FAST PASS preregistration is available online at www.authorsunlimited.org.   Preference will be given to teens for seating and workshops. Lunch is available for purchase in the St. Joseph’s cafeteria throughout the afternoon.

Authors scheduled to attend include Andrea Cremer, Adam Gidwitz, Jeff Hirsch, Tonya Hurley, Alaya Dawn Johnson, Joe Kelly, Robert Lipsyte, Barry Lyga, Patricia McCormick, George O’Connor, Eliot Schrefer, and Natalie Standiford.
