There has already been positive response to the launch of a new website for professions on the East End that work in fields related to and supportive of the film, TV and media industries.

Since the launch of Media Advisory Committee’s website FilmTheHamptons.org, there has been very positive feedback. The news has traveled pretty well Up-Island (see Newsday article). People in various professions on the East End that work in fields related to and supportive of the film, TV and media industries have asked to be put on the Professional Listings area of FilmTheHamptons.org.

So far, I’ve heard from composer and voiceover professional Joe Delia Music. I’ve heard from director Alec Hirschfeld. I’ve heard from Key Grip Dennis Gamiello. I’ve heard from location scout . I’ve heard from makeup specialist Pampered on the Pond Salon. I’ve heard from food specialist Jayse Catering and Y-Cats Craft Service. I’ve heard from the agency The Right Eye. My company, , is listed, as is .

Media Advisory Committee invites local businesses and services to submit their business information through the CONTACT form on FilmTheHamptons.org. Let’s show off our local talent to incoming productions and make it clear that we’re proud of anything that is “Made in the Hamptons.”
