Students Win Street Art Photography Contest

Emma Galasso, a 10th grader from Westhampton, took first place.

A Westhampton 10th grader and a 9th grader from Remsenburg placed in a Southampton Youth Bureau street-art themed photography contest.

Emma Galasso, of Westhampton, took home first prize for her photo of a painting of a man strumming a guitar and Remsenburg's Robert Hinck's photo of a skateboard was awarded third place.

Placing second was William Broich a 12th grader from Sag Harbor. His photo depicted graffiti under a bridge.

All of the artwork will be displayed at Southampton Town Hall through July 15.
