School Board Races Set for Area School Districts
In most districts, three candidates are vying for two seats.
The nominating petitions are officially in. Here are the names that will appear on the ballots during the May 21 school board elections:
Hampton Bays School District
In Hampton Bays, three candidates are vying for two open seats. The candidates are incumbent Richard Joslin and newcomers Adam Ortiz and Kevin Springer.
East Quogue School District
In East Quogue, three candidates are running for two open seats. The candidates are incumbent Joseph Tsaveras and newcomers Dianna Gobler and Carrie Bender.
Westhampton Beach School District
In Westhampton Beach, two open seats are available with three candidates running. Candidates are incumbent Halsey C. Stevens and newcomers Joyce L. Donneson and Claire Bean.
Quogue School District
In Quogue, there are three open seats and three candidates running. They include,
Incumbents Barbara Sartorius, Lauren Battista and newcomer Joyce Flynn.
