Rain Forces Cancellation of Homecoming Bonfire

The Hampton Bays School District will hold a pep rally at 7 p.m. in the high school gym.

A rainy forecast has forced Hampton Bays School officials to cancel a planned bonfire, scheduled for 7 p.m. at Hampton Bays High School.

The district will still hold a pep rally, only the event will be moved from outside to the high school gym.

With weather permitting, a homecoming parade will kick off at 10 a.m. on Saturday with a football game to follow at 2 p.m. against Wyandanch.
