Photo of the Day: Quogue Students Help Fill Food Pantry

The 6th graders are donating $1,500 worth of food to the Westhampton Beach Food Pantry.

To do their part to help out neighbors in need, 6th grade students from Quogue Elementary School have purchased and donated $1,500 worth of food to the Westhampton Beach Food Pantry.

On Friday morning, the students took a bus to the Hampton Bays King Kullen to purchase the food, which will help feed over 100 needy families this holiday season.

To fund the food purchases, the students participated in a 10-mile bike-a-thon and also sold homemade holiday wreaths at the Quogue Post Office.
