Eighth grade student Evan Kelly took first place in the Hampton Bays Middle School National Geographic Geography Bee.
On Thursday, Evan Kelly, an eighth grader, took first place in the National Geographic Geography Bee.
According to Kristen M. Tuffy, legislative aide for the Town of Southampton, Southampton Town Councilwoman Nancy Graboski served as a judge in the competition.
With the win, Kelly will qualifies to compete on the state level.
