Photo of the Day: Hampton Bays Military Academy Student Honored
Anthony Romagnoli, of Hampton Bays was recognized by Congressman Tip Bishop.
Last Tuesday, Congressman Tim Bishop held a Military Service Academy Appointment Celebration in Oakdale in which students set to attend military school were recognized. Among them was Anthony Romagnoli of Hampton Bays.
Romagnoli, who will be attending the Naval Academy is an Eagle Scout and is captain of the Hampton Bays Varsity Wrestling team.
He told Bishop he has a goal to join the elite Navy Seals.

During the event, Bishop said, These dedicated young men and women represent the finest our area has to offer, and they deserve this special recognition of their achievements as students and their potential as leaders. I am deeply grateful to St. John's University for allowing me to host this event in a venue that reflects the proud tradition of service in the United States Military."
