Meet Hampton Bays High School's New Assistant Principal

Eric Ferraro is the Hampton Bays High School's new assistant principal.

Hampton Bays High School has a new principal.

Late last month, the district named Eric Ferraro as the high school's assistant principal, replacing Anthony DeBlasio, who is now the assistant principal at the Hampton Bays Middle School.

Ferraro joins the Hampton Bays High School after working in the East Hampton School District as the dean of students, English department coordinator and English teacher.

As an English teacher, he taught Advanced Placement and honors courses in English and literature, as well as a journalism class.

Ferraro holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Stony Brook University with a concentration in both American and British literature. He also has a master’s degree in secondary education in English.

“I am very excited to join the staff of a school that is known for its academic excellence and collaborative climate,” said Ferraro. “I am looking forward to working to best meet the needs of the students of Hampton Bays.”
