Pancha Vayu: Harnessing the 5 Flows of Prana

All of life begins, is sustained, ends with Prana. There are five important flows, the pancha vayu, that govern specific movements and areas of the bodymind. These vayu are extremely important for a yogi to understand and embody in order to deepen their experience of their subtle energetic system. Yoga serves these five movements of fl ow so that ones pranic body is strengthened, calmed, liberated, and stimulated. Both asana and pranayam are meant to optimize the functioning of Prana as well as harness and direct these energies. When we liberate Prana to fl ow freely there is freedom, lightness and empowerment on every level. Join us for a deeper look into the source principles of yoga.
