Learn about the new affordable health care act

If you're a Senior Citizen and have questions about how the New Health Care Law will effect you please plan to attend a free program hosted by the Westhampton Free Library in conjunction with NY Healthcare For All and Organizing for America to learn about the new affordable health care act. This program is moderated by former Southampton Town Councilwoman Sally Pope next Thursday May 5th at 2:00 PM at the Westhampton Free Library on Library Avenue in Westhampton Beach. Your questions will be answered by a panel of health care experts.

Thanks to the Affordable Health Care Act, New York’s Medicare beneficiaries can now get free preventative services ‐ like mammograms and colonoscopies and a free annual doctor's wellness visit. By 2020 the act will close the Medicare donut hole completely. A typical senior on Medicare is expected to save more than $3,500 over the next 10 years.

This is a free program for seniors at the Westhampton Free Library
7 Library Avenue, Westhampton Beach on Thursday May 5th, 2011 at 2:00 PM.
Reservations are suggested but not needed. Call 631-353-1315 for more information.
