Water SUpply for 40 town homes

This was sent to  me from a friend.

One of my major concerns is the location and type of sewer treatment system that is being used. Placing this system across north road to the wooded 2 acre parcel would require running a sewer line up the hill to a Nitrex waste management system. This system is considered state of the art, but has only been used for 7 years. My question is adequate water supply? Is there a water main bigger enough on the east side of the canal to supply 40 town houses? A source with knowledge of the water district does not believe the water main is large enough to handle this demand. If the water supply were to be increased it would have to come from the west side of the canal. What would be the cost and environmental impact of tunneling a water main under the shinnecock canal. I am not sure if this is covered in the DEIS, I do find it curious that as of last meeting on August 13 th no one from the Rechler group had contacted the Hampton bays water district to answer these questions. Therefore I have to question the thoroughness of their study.
