Blog: Arts, Crafts and Books Galore in Westhampton Beach

Time for shopping for one of a kind gifts and a book signing opportunity.

This weekend is a good one for Arts in the Westhampton Beach Area. The Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce is once again hard at work bringing a crowd to Main Street Westhampton Beach by hosting their extremely popular Arts & Craft Show on the Village Green. It is open Saturday from 10am- 6pm and Sunday from 10am-5pm. It is Free Admission and always a good time.

After shopping at the Arts & Craft Show be sure to take a walk over to the Westhampton Beach Library where myself, along with other Local and Independent authors will be signing and selling our books. There is an eclectic gathering of authors, that offer books on an array of topics. I checked out all of their books online and it will be hard not to buy a copy of each one. There are Children's Books, Memior, Channeled Writing, Murder Mystery, Meditation, Sifi, Fantasy, Graffiti Art and Woman's Contemporary Fiction to name a few.

I always love book signing events, it is such a great opportunity to make personal connection with the person who wrote the book, a chance to get their insight, a behind the scenes if you will. On the other side, writing a book is a very personal endeavor so meeting people who enjoy your writings can be very humbling as well as empowering.

So before or after you enjoy Main Street Westhampton Beach, The Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce; Farmers Market and Art & Craft Show, join Bernadine Fagan, Katrina Fortuna, Jane Genende, Preisler Harrington, Jason N. Hefter, Katheryn T. Hegeman, Karenann Knotoff, Mandi Kowalik, Marilyn Levinson, George McAvoy, Dinne Moritz, Shannon Smith, Rita Plush, Wendy Wax and myself this Sunday, June 3, at the Westhampton Beach Library from 12:30pm-3:30pm. We look forward to meeting and talking with you. And remember this is not a Hamptons exclusive invitation only event, so bring your kids, family & friends. It is also a good excuse to come inside the library and see the gorgeous renovations.

Long Island has a lot of talent in many different areas this is a good opportunity to get a glimpse into that talent. There is something wonderful about having a one of a kind piece of art or jewelry and reading a classic that has yet to be discovered by the main stream. Besides with summer coming we all have our beach reading lists, this is the perfect time to add one more.
