No one dies at Lily Dale, NY

Recently I vacationed for a week at a Spiritualist community at Lily Dale, NY. For those of you who do not know of this spiritual gated community, Lily Dale is a Hamlet located in the town of Pomfret nestled comfortabley right on Cassadaga Lake.  it was purchased during the time of the modern Spiritualist movement in 1927 by founding sisters Kate and Margaret Fox . Lily Dale's year-round population is estimated to be 275. Each year approximately 22,000 registered visitors come for classes, workshops, public church services, mediumship demonstrations, lectures, and private appointments with mediums. Typical guest lecturers include John Edwards, James VanPraagh, Deepak Chopra as well as visiting mediums, reverends, and student ministers from all over the world.

Perhaps some of you have heard of the movie "No One Dies in Lily Dale" which is a documentary of sorts about Spiritualism and the philosophy that there is no death. Messages from loved ones on the "other side" is part of this religion's way of proving the continuity of life.  

My vacation was very enlightening as I attended with a spiritual sisterhood I am a member of. I stayed at the Maplewood which is one of the oldest hotel there.  I went to healing services, fairy woods, the "stump" and message services... where I recieved a message from my step-father and his family members, I also had the pleasure of serving Spirit by giving messages from the "other side" at the Lakeside Assemby Hall; It was a packed house with those present in their seats their loved ones on the "other side". 

The summer is winding down and we are flowing into a new season with many traditional holidays coming up. Loved one's enjoy visiting on the holidays and it can be very comforting to know that our loved ones are always nearby. When you are thinking of your loved ones be aware they know your thoughts of them. When your heart is open to them as you remember good times, they are sharing in that space with you.  Please know that you are never alone. And even though they cannot come and give you all the answers to the life you have come to live and learn from, they CAN help to comfort you with their presence and to remind you of how greatly you are loved! Your loved ones can be there and guide you with messages from time to time. All you have to do is be open to recieve from them in a new way of communicating mentally, instinctually... and never doubt what you recieve. Your loved ones will always come through with positive loving messages.
