Birthday parties with our reptiles :)

Call Reptile Robs at (631) 653-3300 and book your birthday party with our amazing super friendly reptiles. Sales are going on now. $100 if you book with either Bry, Pam or Sara. Parties start at $325 so that means they now start at $225. All of our animals love being handled and are great for flash photography. You can take pictures with the reptiles. We are open Mondays-Saturdays from 10-6 and Sunday from 11-5. Mention this add for the discount :)

The animals we bring to the parties are bearded dragons, adult ball pythons, mid age columbian red tail boas, Houdini the Florida king snake, gopher snake,  bam bam our store tortoise, leopard gecko/crested gecko, dumpy frogs(if we have any in stock), tarantula, Madagascar hissing cockroaches, and stick bugs. If we get anything new and exciting in the mean time we will bring them as well, but those animals are usually our set animals that go to most shows.

Bearded dragons are great for parties especially the adults because they are so great and stay on your child. As babies they are very jumpy and fragile, that is the reason why we only bring the adults with us. Bearded dragons are the number one friendliest lizard out there. They are never known to bite and love to be handle. The ball pythons are great as well because they are the most less active snakes. This makes it great for parties because you don't have to worry about them getting away and you can get the best photos with them. The columbian boas and the king snake on the other hand are more movable which makes it harder for the kids to wear like a necklace but are great to handle hand over hand. Both of these types of snakes are absolutely gorgeous. The gopher snake are awesome due to they try to act like a cobra. This doesn't mean that they bite at all. It just means the gopher snakes wants to act all tuff but no action. The gopher snake is also on the smaller side . Bam Bam our store tortoise tends to be the hit of the show, don't as me why but children love her. She is a Japanese forester tortoise which  are becoming endanger which makes us one of the few people to own one. Eventually if we ever find a male we would love to breed her to get more out there. Bam Bam also has the weirdest personality, she hates other animals such as lizards but loves people. So at the store she is in his cage by her self. If we take her out of the cage she will actually follow people around the store, too cute right. These couple of animal are just our reptiles that are not for sale since they are fabulous with parties.

The other animals that are brought to parties are also great at parties but are for sale, so we tend to always have then in stock here at the shop. We either bring a leopard gecko or a crested gecko to a show (which ever one we have in stock). Leopard geckos tend to be a lot calmer than crested geckos. Crested geckos are friendly but they like to act like frogs and jump, LOL. I find it the best part at the party when a crested gecko is being handled then jumps on someone else. The dumpy frogs are the only type of frog we will bring to a party since they are the most durable and less jumpy. Not every party we have a dumpy frog because they aren't the easiest to get in especially in the winter. The bugs on the other hand also tend to be great hits. The tarantula no one handles due to if your allergic to bees you will also be allergic to this guy and we wouldn't like to find out if you are or no at a party, LOL. The cockroaches and stick bugs most of the time every child handles them, unlike the snakes or lizards because some children are afraid to handle the lizards and snakes.

The thing is if we are handling a reptile and we are allowing children to handle them, they are not aggressive. We would never put a child in danger. This is why we have certain animals that aren't for sale because they are super tame and used to be handled by thousands of people.
