WHB Village Board Notes: Eckart’s Honored for 100th Year in Business

At their meeting, WHB Trustees also approved special events, transfer of land and a special exception permit.

During their monthly meeting on Thursday night, Westhampton Beach Village Trustees celebrated Eckart’s Luncheonette's 100th year in business with a plaque.

In presenting the plaque to the businesses owners, Mayor Conrad Teller joked, saying the luncheonette is where he “learned to read comic books and tell dirty jokes.”

The luncheonette is an iconic fixture in the community, run by the Eckart family for four generations.
