Westhampton Beach Leaf Pick-Up Starts November 1

Leaves are starting to fall and the Village Westhampton Beach is ready to collect them.

According to the village's website, the department of public works will start leaf collections on Nov. 1 and continue through Nov. 30 after which no leaves will be collected. 

The village states that all leaves and brush may be put out at curbside in separate piles throughout the month and no leaves or brush can be placed in the roadway. Small branches also cannot exceed 3 inches in diameter and 3 feet in length and no grass clippings are allowed.

The village also requests that residents use biodegradable, paper leaf bags that are available at the village office.
