Westhampton Beach Eyes Glover's Park as Music Venue
The Village of Westhampton Beach is eying a $100,000 renovation project.
To fulfill multiple requests for new music venue in Westhampton Beach, the village has decided to consider a $100,000 renovation of Glover's Park to accommodate entertainment.
"We have had many requests for additional music venues," said Rebecca Mollinaro, village clerk.
According to Molinaro, plans to renovate the park, which sits behind the building on Glover's Lane, are in the "tentative" stage and an architect/landscaping team is currently working on a design.

The architect, she said, is working on the plans pro-Bono and the project itself will be funded through the village's park fund.
The project, which was spurred by the Westhampton Beach Beautification Committee, said Molinaro, will help reinforce Westhampton Beach as an East End cultural center.
