Westhampton Beach Village Election Results: Charles Palmer and Ralph Urban Win Seats

Deputy Mayor Toni-Jo Birk lost her seat with 188 votes.

, a retired teacher and , a municipal account with Suffolk County, have won seats on the Westhampton Beach Village Board. Deputy Mayor  lost her bid for reelection.

Birk lost her seat with 188 votes; Palmer received 190 votes and Urban 252 votes. 

Mayor Conrad Teller, who ran unchallenged, was re-elected to his fourth term with 216 votes.

A total of 352 residents cast ballots; 16 were absentee. 

Of the win, Palmer said, "It will be my pleasure to serve the residents of Westhampton Beach and bring better functionality to the board."

Urban said, "I hope to bring positive communication to the residents and the board." 

Birk, who was hoping to serve a fourth term, simply stated, "The people have spoken."
