Town to Give Away Tote Bags at Area Beaches
The give-away will take place on July 14.
As part of it's ongoing effort to increasing recycling among residents, the town of Southampton's will be giving away 1,000 reusable, canvas tote bags at area beaches on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The bags, according to the town, were purchased with the help of the and other area business, and and have donated gift certificates for the give-away event.
Also during the event, beachgoers can sign to reduce, reuse, and recycle when it comes to plastic bags.

The bags be given away at in Sagaponack, in Hampton Bays, and in Westhampton Beach, until supplies run out.
