Tell Us If Kabot Has a Chance Against Throne-Holst

Get on The Soapbox and let us know.

In November, Southampton Supervisor Anna Throne-Holst will once again face off against former Southampton Supervisor Linda Kabot for the supervisor's seat.

In 2009, Throne-Holst unseated Kabot, who then waged a write-in challenge in 2011. Throne-Holst kept her seat in that race from Kabot, who lost with 3,900 votes or 36.4 percent of the total ballots cast.

This time around, Kabot has secured the Republican line and has just won the Conservative line through a primary.

That begs the question, will the third time be a charm for Kabot? Our new open blog, The Soapbox - Southampton Gov't hopes to be the place where locals can debate these kids of issues in town.
