The Town of Southampton's Parks and Recreation, Senior Services and Youth Bureau have announced that registration for its winter 2014 programs are now open.

The winter brochure, which was sent to residents last week is chock-full of programs for various fees, including exercise class, softball leagues and painting courses.

Children can be signed-up for dancing and acting classes and for teens there is a ski, snowboard and tubing trip to Camelback Mountain, roller skating, a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, and auditions for the “Hamptons Got Talent” talent competition.

And for seniors there are book discussions, line dancing, yoga and computer classes.

The brochure also features the 11th annual snowman and an antiques show, called “Trash or Treasure” on March 8.

“The Town strives to provide an assortment of positive and enriching recreational opportunities that are appealing and accessible to a broad range of age groups and interests,” said Councilwoman Christine Scalera.

To access the brochure online click here and to register visit the department at its Hampton Bays office, 6 Newtown Road or by calling 728-8585.
