The petitions are in and in the village of Quogue, two town trustees are running unopposed for the two open trustee seats. According to the village clerk's office, Randy Cardo and Ted Necarsulmer are seeking re-election on the Liberty Party ticket.
There is a contest, however, in the village justice race. Allan Lazarescu and Leonard Lato are vying for the part-time position currently held by Kittrick Motz, who has decided not to seek re-election.
Lazarescu, who is the village’s prosecuting attorney, is running on the Liberty Party line and Lato is running under the Justice For All Party.
