Quogue Village Election Results: Lazarescu Will Serve as the Next Village Justice

Incumbent trustees also reelected.

Voters elected Alan Lazarescu to be next justice. Lazarescu recieved 178 votes. His opponent, Leonard Lato garnered 67 votes.

Lazarescu will replace Justice Kittric Motz, who opted not to run for reelection.

is a former chief counsel and vice president of Metropolitan Life Insurance in Manhattan and says he is familiar with the inner workings of Quogue, having served on various village boards and as the village’s prosecuting attorney since his move to the East End as a full-time resident in 2001.

Voters also reelected village trustees Randy Cardo and Edward Necarsulmer III, who both ran unchallenged.  Cardo received 196 votes and Necarsulmer garnered 192 votes.
