New Faces in Westhampton Beach Village Hall

Westhampton Beach, Quogue Villages held their organizational meetings on Monday night.

The Westhampton Beach Village Board of Trustees held its annual reorganization meeting on Monday night, welcoming new deputy mayor Hank Tucker and

Tucker replaces as duputy mayor. Birk finished third in a three-person race for two seats in mid-June, falling just two votes behind Palmer, an accountant with Suffolk County.

Besides shifts on the Board of Trustees, former Architectural Review Board member Jim Badzik filled a vacancy on the Zoning Board of Appeals left by Patricia Stinchi, leaving a current vacancy on the ARB.

Rose Lowe, a former Assistant New York Attorney General, was appointed Acting Village Justice. Lowe replaces J. Lee Snead, whose one-year appointment ended on June 30.

In Quogue, almost everything remains the same in the coming year as it did last year.

In last month's elections, , so no new members on the Board of Trustees were sworn in this year. The only change in the village boards is Christina Kepner taking the place of Margaret Rappaport on the Design Review Board.
