Need a Beach Permit? Here's Where to Get One

Find out where and when to get a beach permit in Westhampton Beach, Quogue and Southampton.

The summer beach season is nearly here and that means soon enough beach permits will be required to access area beaches in Westhampton Beach, Southampton and Quogue. So if you haven't gotten your permit yet or aren't sure where to, here is a list to check out. 

Village of Westhampton Beach

Permits to access Westhampton Beach beaches will be available, starting Sunday, at village hall from 10 am. to 3 p.m. Free permits will be given out to all residents, fire department and ambulance members, as well as village employees. Non-residents, who can obtain their permits, starting May 24 at Rogers Beach, are required to pay $425 for passes. The fee for seasonal renters is $725.

Village of Quogue

Village of Quogue beach passes for the village beach are now available. Permits are $90 per car for residents and $240 per car for seasonal renters. Additional Id cards can be purchased for $12 per card. Residents who wish to obtain their permit by mail must pay an additional $6 and residents wanting to pick up their permit at Quogue Village Hall must do so on May 18, May 25 or June 1. The downloadable form, however, must be submitted to village hall at least five days prior to pick-up date.

Town of Southampton

Town of Southampton permits are now available by mail or by bringing a downloadable permit application to the town's parks and recreation office on Newtown Road in Hampton Bays. The fee for residents and year-round renters is $30 and $20 for seniors. Summer vistors are required to pay $300 for a pass. Those wishing to apply by mail must also mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
