Westhampton Beach Police reports through March 19.

Editor’s Note: The following information was supplied by the Westhampton Beach Village Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

DWI

Westhampton Beach cops seized a 2003 BMW under the Suffolk County seizure law on March 14 at 11:35 p.m. after the driver of the car was caught drinking and driving.

Police said they pulled over Robert Cunniff, 50, of East Moriches, who has a prior DWI conviction, on Montauk Highway after they spotted him swerving on Beach Lane.

Cunniff was charged with DWI, a felony, and driving an unregistered vehicle as well as making an unsafe lane change, both violations.

He was released on $1,000 bail.

Drugs

A 17-year-old Medford woman was charged with DWI/Drugs, a misdemeanor, on March 15 after police said she was caught speeding on Pontuck Lane at 6:01 p.m.

Angelika Korenvski was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

P. Killian, Thanks for asking. We just reached out to State police. They are doing seatbelt checks.
