Westhampton Beach Village Police: DWI and Stolen Razors

DWI
Shannon Tahir, 30, of Riverhead was arrested by Westhampton Beach Village Police on Friday at 10:45 p.m. on Montauk Highway in Westhampton Beach and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said they pulled her over for speeding and for driving out of her lane.

Theft
Bruce Carter, 58, of East Quogue was arrested by Westhampton Beach Village Police on Saturday at 1:22 p.m. at Waldbaum’s on Sunset Avenue and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Police say the store manager reported he saw Carter leave without paying for a Gilette Proglide Razor.

A woman working as a housecleaner at a home on Hampton Close told police on Friday at 2 p.m. that on Thursday, May 26, someone stole $3,000 in Polish currency, called złoty, and 40 Euros from her handbag. Police are investigating.
